When you use it, you will only capitalize the first letter of the first word. Simply put, sentence case reads as an ordinary sentence! If there is ever a proper noun, you will need to capitalize it, no matter where it falls.

- the first word of a sentence
- the first word of a subtitle
- any proper nouns
