Everything Stems From Self-Worth And Here’s Why

It starts with acceptance.

If you think about it, the motivator for everyone’s thoughts, actions, and feelings stems from one root idea.

Self-worth.

To our core, we all have an inner child that wants to feel worthy of all the happiness and love life has to offer.

However, society conditions us to question our self-worth starting from childhood all the way through adulthood.

Think about how you feel in your teens and early twenties when you are beginning to date. When you have your first heartbreak, it is soul-crushing because you feel unworthy of somebody else’s love whom you were so obsessed with.

Those young and impressionable years are so innocent but you can see the need for validation of self-worth showing up. The need for the opposite sex to accept you and want to be with you makes you feel desired, loved, and worthy.

Unless addressed and realized early on, this need for validation and acceptance for worthiness will continue into adulthood.

When you start working, you put in your best effort in hopes to gain praise from the bosses. The idea would hopefully lead to a raise which you can then turn around and tell all your friends and family.

But what if neither happens. No praise and no raise.

Would you feel upset and personally offended? Would you feel unworthy and question your ability to perform at a high level at your job?

Regardless of the outcome, you are still worthy.

Worthiness is deep within all of us and we are all innately worthy.

We need to recondition and reprogram the story that no longer serves us if we think we are not good enough or we don’t deserve something.

Each person needs to go on their own journey to question the limiting beliefs and stories they have been conditioned to believe all their lives.

First, start with acceptance and then move to compassion.

Forgive yourself for the belief in those stories. Then you can be free to rewire and tell the new story to yourself of how you are worthy.

Your self-worth is infinite and does not need to be validated by anyone else but yourself. You fill your own cup.

Once you master this powerful belief, you will become impenetrable to criticism, judgment, and negativity from the outside world.

You will know, those feelings are from others projecting onto you. They are just stories being told that are not truths and do not come from you.

I have embarked on this lifelong journey to reaffirm my self-worth and will walk alongside you on this journey.

With that, I want to remind you and you are good enough.

You are worthy of all the love and success you desire in life.
