Everything Passes — #Mood

Everything passes, but the pain in the soul persists the most. Droughts are passing. After the clouds, the sun appears. The blizzards subside. People leave, but others come better, warmer, more loving. Sunsets are followed by sunrises.

After the frosty winters, the warm springs come. After failures come success. After suffering we know happiness. Everything passes, but the pain in the soul persists the most. The changes on the outside do not hurt us. We don’t hate, because someone is better than us. We are not jealous, because the neighbor has more than us. We do not gossip, because we have nothing else to discuss.

We are selfish, false, evil, because we do not know how to treat our souls. We have sad faces and naked eyes because the soul is full of regrets and frustrations. We carry unspoken words in us, people we cannot forgive, unhealed wounds. Betrayal and disappointment cause pain, and when we do not put love in the place of pain.

When we do not heal the traumas and wounds, when we do not forgive and do not try to be the best version of ourselves, we become monsters wearing the masks of beautiful people. The pain passes hard because few can forgive. Few accept someone else’s happiness. Few understand the choices of those in our lives.

Many times we are vengeful and hatred blinds us. Because of this we become cold and hate each other. Souls that groan in pain cool this world, and with regret many mourns within us.
