But is a super smart Chat Bot fundamentally Flawed?
To quote the philosophy behind the book — The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
“Answering a question requires knowledge, but knowing the questions to ask requires wisdom”
So despite ChatGPT’s vast reservoir of knowledge, its potential remains untapped by the vast majority simply because they do not know the right questions or topics to ask.
You may have the knowledge of the universe at your finger tips but can you interoperate it?
This is why I think Custom Trained Models now known as the “GPT” are the future.
These AI models can prompt users with questions to help them think more deeply about a topic or consider aspects they hadn’t previously. By engaging users in a conversational and interactive manner, custom GPTs make the learning process more engaging and less intimidating.

Yes
So What exactly is a custom GPT?
Custom trained GPTs are specialised versions of the the regular AI model (GPT4, GPT 3.5) tailored for specific tasks or industries. They are trained with additional data to enhance their knowledge in a particular domain.
But let’s get something straight GPT’s are not new in any way new, being able to train a model based on additional data has been available through the use of API since chat GPT first came out. I reason I find GPT’s exciting is because now the everyday person is empowered with a different set of tools.
GPT’s are cool & fun getting lots of attention but the API is where the magic and true innovations lie. GPT’s are platform bound to chat GPT — will this start a rise of GPT Creators?? — but lets save this for another time!
