Yesterday I began a daily adventure of writing. I’m calling it 365 Days in the Garden. You can read about it here and also see a photo of how bad those pots looked yesterday:

I don’t plan for every post to be about gardening. In fact, this one was supposed to be about the museum trip with my family. Sadly, when we woke up this morning, almost everyone was sick.

I ended up deciding to go ahead and clean up just that one section of my garden. There’s still plenty to be done to get things ready for spring, but we are only at the beginning of January. This year I plan to do something that involves plants or being outside every day, and I believe that with consistency, even small steps will lead to great progress.
