September Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Shadows”

We capture moments and memories together.

My granddaughter and I walk together every evening. It is a necessary time for both of us to walk and to wander to see what is happening in the neighborhood. I carry my camera and capture photos of birds, flowers, and clouds. She carries a small cup to capture toads, tadpoles, and snails. She always releases them back into the rain ditches but enjoys viewing the sizes and varieties each day.

I appreciate that she schedules our time together each day. I appreciate that we both enjoy having just the two of us walking and talking and sharing our time together each evening.

Last Note from this Grandmother — She is growing so fast! Her shadow will soon be as long as mine.
