Most of the time l live in a silent world. Of images and memories.

All of the time I look at the woods. But can’t hear the birds in the trees.

All of the time I watch the football games I can feel the atmosphere of the crowd but never hear the cheers.

All of the time I look into the night sky and stars and wonder how far away it is in light-years.

Even though I’m deaf I can still hear you. I imagine your velvet undertones in your voice and that’s why I love you.
