Essence and Acceptance
an imperfect world
Trials and tribulations are like beestings that swell, waiting to heal. Yet, when I stop to think about them, I am reminded that broken wings can be fixed, that bones do heal, and trials do go away.
No day is perfect because life is imperfectly perfect, but the sun has its place and never leaves us.
Rain is better than shoveling snow where roads and sidewalks are buried, but snow makes the world bright and clean, a sight that takes away the grime.
“Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.” — Ben Franklin
So, laughing about ourselves over some of our ridiculous comedies or actions, and those of others, puts us on a better path to staying young longer.
“Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakens.” — Carl Jung
We rest, we awaken, and it turns back the clock of aging.
Tragedy is when the very young die whether from illness, or violence, or accident never living long enough to age. We can love the young that remain more and protect them better always being aware and in touch. Love is the answer and action that makes a difference.
We may have regrets of not doing enough or just not doing anything, but we can love and forgive ourselves and keep loving for our hearts depend on us.
I’ve lost an innumerable amount of family. A sister at 27, a niece at 42, a brother at 47, and siblings lost total 7. Their deaths remind me of life’s imperfection and its tragedies.
Suffering gives us a deep respect for reality while joy connects us to the realm of infinite possibilities. (wholebeinginstitute.com)
Change is inevitable like suffering. Acceptance helps us to grow. What we learn to be true can be accepted. We can embrace being human and all that brings suffering for life is not perfect.
To be happy therefore, we must learn, grow, embrace, accept, love, and forgive.
Everyone and everything have a purpose and those that lived shorter lives surely served the world by their presence, and by their work, desires, and love in their shorter span until we can embrace them again in another world. They left behind their essence which is a perfect ending to an imperfect world.
