Esports in short is electronic sports. It transforms online gaming into spectator sports.

These Esports video games can be played on different electronic devices such as PC, Mobile, Consoles, unmanned vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, robots, simulations, and many more.

In Esports gamers use their physical and mental abilities to compete in certain genres of video games in a virtual, electronic environment. Esports players are called “Athletes” and not “nerds”.

Casual video games, Fantasy, Teen Patti, Rummy, Poker, Betting, and Gambling are not considered esports.

Today, Esports is a booming global industry where there is competition in games like baseball, basketball, and football where skilled video gamers play competitively.

It involves teams that compete against each other in tournaments for a cash prize. It is like traditional sports. Top-level athletes are often vying for the top spots in their sport, or game, of choice.

Technology has brought about a change such that these games can be accessed from anywhere. I see my grandkids aged 7 and 10 accessing and excitedly watching it or playing Esports on their IPads.
