Never liked people Neediness steeple Steeple of neediness

I’m alone Selfish to the bone

Shift began Edge of reason Metaphorical cliff Jump Find myself adrift

Wash me away Not tomorrow Today

Waves are ominous Moonlit sea caps Shit, it’s a trap

Sharks circle about Wish for a drought I close my eyes

To awaken To a friend I have forsaken Oceans salt baptized me anew

I had survived To be revived Wisdom of a perceived foe In no judgment Said, “Let go”

Unnoticeably Noticeable Denial forms Truth

Step inside my photo booth Travel back to our youth Flashing light Pictures bright

Isolation creates evil Pitch dark upheaval Lost the fight Light wins over darkness White shirt starchness

Hidden treasures Inside my soul Feel much love From the big guy above

A sense of love radiates Broken radiator reverberates Medium One size fits all

Found my friends within the sea Writing persuasively Alluring Poetry Medium holds the master key

This is a dedication poem to all the friends I have made on Medium. They have supported me even when I have not been there to support them. It took all the tragedy to see the beauty that lies within the friendship of you and me. You were there the whole time. I was to self involved to recognize my crime. Too selfish. Too jaded. Found a new person inside of myself. Thanks to all of you I am transforming into somebody else.
