Endless Emotions Makes us Humans
The Journey of Life February Prompt

“We all live at the mercy of our emotions. Our emotions influence and shape our desires, thoughts and behaviors and above all our destiny.” – Dr T.P.Chia
I firmly believe that humans are comprised of emotions. Without emotions, we would be nothing more than living stones. Our motivation to live is derived from our emotions.
I think the secret to leading a fulfilling life is knowing how to effectively manage your emotions. But doing so is a difficult task. Our lack of exposure to open emotional expression is the first thing I think is wrong with our lives. All of us have been taught that powerful emotions should be restrained. On the other hand, if we choose to be vulnerable, we’ve never been taught to express our feelings clearly.
Another difficult task is comprehending an emotion. Sometimes it is tough to separate our conflicting feelings because we are so overcome by them. Every emotion we experience reveals something about who we are. Some feelings, like wrath, guilt, or regret, might be challenging for us to embrace.
Trust is a feeling that is undervalued considering how powerful and significant it can be. We are unable to bestow trust on everyone. Building a relationship between two people takes time. I have trouble trusting people in my life.
It’s quite challenging for me to trust other individuals. I am not a person who can share my innermost thoughts and feelings with others. I felt that the people around me were essentially unreliable as a result of my experiences, where my confidence was frequently betrayed. It takes a long time to develop trust, but only a split second to destroy it.
Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships.
-Stephen Covey
Emotions are important for meaningful relationships. In all relationships, "trust" is the bedrock. No one should break someone’s trust because another person has to go through some devastating consequences. Emotions are a gift from God to all of us. To stop feeling emotions is to die. So handle your emotions with care and patience. To conclude, I would love to share a beautiful quote about emotions.
"Emotion can be the enemy, if you give into your emotion, you lose yourself. You must be at one with your emotions, because the body always follows the mind." --Bruce Lee
