Ending The Week With Exercise And A Hot Sauna
After a week of intense training, they needed to relax
It had just gone nine on Friday morning when Syl and I entered the gym, ready for our workout routine. Neither of us was really in the mood for it. Our exercise regime this week had been harsh, and we both wanted some downtime.
On the rowing machines, our rhythms differed more than usual. Every time I pushed myself backward, I watched Syl pulling herself forward. My eyes drank in the play of muscles in her shoulders, down her back and right to her buttocks. An unfamiliar tingle ran through my body, and I turned my eyes forward to concentrate on the numbers on the display in front of me, pumping up the rhythm.
Soon we found ourselves at the mirror wall, each with barbells in our hands, doing squats and lifts. I blushed when I saw how Syl ran her tongue over her lips while her eyes followed the line of my body. Quickly averting my gaze, I looked at my reflection, noticing the spread of my legs every time I squatted.
The tingle returned.
I shrugged it off, irritated with myself. Why couldn’t I just concentrate on the exercises?
There was something in the air today.
I wasn’t the only one distracted. Syl also seemed out of it.
We moved to the mats and sat down facing each other. Just like other days, we hooked our legs together, and alternated doing situps. Every time I sat up, something else caught my attention.
Syl’s breasts. Her powerful legs. Muscled shoulders. Mysterious eyes.
Then, when I sat up and she was supposed to be down on her back, I found her sitting too.
“Let’s hit the sauna,” she said. “I’m in the mood.”
Only later, I understood the double entendre of those words.
