The Enchanting Butterfly Gardens of the Texas Hill Country
I am thankful to Mother Nature for creating beautiful butterflies with their graceful, delicate wings

“‘ Just living isn’t enough,’ said the butterfly, ‘one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.’” — Hans Christian Anderson, The Complete Fairy Tales
We had the pleasure of visiting several enchanting butterfly gardens in the beautiful Texas Hill Country this summer.
It was mesmerizing to watch multiple varieties of these beautiful winged creatures fluttering among the flowers.
We were captivated by the array of colorful, intricate patterns on their paper-thin wings. The tiny scales on their wings are what give them their color.
The butterfly gardens are a tranquil haven of peace.
Watching these delicate creatures landing on flowers is a mindfulness exercise.
You need to stay in the present and savor the moment.
