Emotional Challenges Can Affect Anyone
Here are some solutions for depression, unhappiness, sadness and more…
We want to be happy, and we can be. Still, we all have challenges, now and then. Emotional challenges are not selective. These stressful, and occasionally, torturous conditions, especially depression can affect an individual of any race, religion, nation, economic class, and political persuasion.
Composer Cole Porter fell into a deep depression in the late 1940s that plagued him to his death in 1964. Winston Churchill suffered through most of his life in a struggle with depression that he came to call “the black dog.” Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, began suffering from a type of depression he called “the melancholy of things done.”
The great writer and storyteller Mark Twain suffered from a period of great depression towards the end of his life; Abraham Lincoln, considered by many to be the greatest of all American presidents, suffered from what was then called melancholy throughout his life; and poet Emily Dickinson wrote a poem about an emotional breakdown she experienced, saying, “I felt a funeral in my brain.”
Emotional problems and worries often seems to have a life of their own. Like some creature from one of those “Alien” movies, they grow inside of you and begin to consume you.
Friends and family want to help, offer support, but what they say just doesn’t get in. When you are in these states, you can feel completely isolated. An individual in this mental prison sincerely want help and yet they often seem paralyzed in acting on that desire. People with the best of intentions will tell you to “get on with your life,” “snap out of it,” “think positive,” and “exercise!” It isn’t as easy as that. Mental breakdowns, and the treatment of the associated symptoms are both basic and highly complex at the same time.
Stress based emotional problems have become one of the major health problems in recent years. With the advent of technology, such as the internet, email, faxes and wireless devices, we are being forced to work harder than ever before, to be on call longer, while at the same time, to take less vacation and personal time. Catastrophic world events have only exacerbated this, spurning a record number of new cases of depression. In 2001, the National Book Award Winner in the category of Non Fiction — and a major bestseller — was a book about depression. As was one of my best-selling books, Healing Depression Naturally. My most recent book “Beyond Thought” is about creating a meaningful life.
Unfortunately, emotional imbalance of all types it is only predicted to get worse. In 2002, almost 20 million Americans had been diagnosed with some form of emotional stress.
Many mental health professionals over the years have seen these conditions purely as a state of mind. In the last four decades, research has indicated that there are many forces at play both spiritual, economic, social and political that can ultimately lead to emotional and mental disorders.
Simultaneously, the use of nutritional products and herbal preparations by the general public is one of the fastest growing segments in consumer spending and in health care. As far back as 1993, Dr. David Eisenberg, a professor at Harvard University, spoke about early, and important studies showing that may Americans had used some form of alternative medicine.
Extensive research has shown that various non-invasive approaches have the ability to bring short-term, and, in many cases, permanent relief from many debilitating emotional and mental disorders.
Research in recent years has also shown that these conditions are seldom isolated. It is generally experienced with other symptoms that might include headache, sub-clinical nutritional deficiencies, digestive problems, insomnia, and many others. These are all conditions that can be positively influenced by nutrition, herbs, amino acid supplementation, hands-on healing, specialized counseling and coaching systems, and other approaches either alone or, when necessary, in combination with medication.
In addition NLP, life coaching, manifestation mentors, and even A.I. have been shown to help people to find greater happiness.
The work we will be doing will be a well-organized, step-by-step program that integrates nutrition, homeopathy, amino acid therapy, herbal-based healing techniques, (including flower remedies and aromatherapy), hands-on healing, massage, bodywork, healing through movement, color and music therapy, intestinal detoxification, glandular balancing, behavior modification, and ancient approaches that have been used in China and India for thousands of years.
One key factor is to learn to cleanse the blood and subtly influence brain chemistry by balancing glandular function. By addressing the nervous system, the any healing program will ensures proper healing of emotional issues that might lead to emotional and mental challenges. Any program must be designed to help the client transcend the emotional challenge while relaxing and regenerating nerve and muscle tissue; improving cellular absorption of oxygen and other nutrients, strengthening intestinal muscles, improving peristalsis, and increasing bowel evacuation to bring about the gradual cleansing of the intestinal tract. Following this program may have an immediate impact on their mental and physical health, and lead them to the threshold of a greatly improved quality of life.
