Emoji Nightmares

An emoji emotive prompt

Ghosts of the past, in nightmares, repeat. Having lost two hands, the Joker, a cheat.

Dude wanted his money. Eight fists of fury, knocking out teeth. The nightmare, my jury.

A worse nightmare, the ‘Tentacles’ flick*. ‘Jaws’ it wasn’t, but it freaked me out sick.

A greater nightmare, the rhyming won’t cease. It consumes my brain, won’t leave me in peace.
