Embracing the Journey: Setting New Writing Goals with the Ship 30 For 30 Cohort

Over the next 30 days, I’ll be writing 30 Atomic Essays.

I first encountered one of the Ship30For30 videos on YouTube in 2022. After viewing a handful of them, I was hampered by several self-limiting beliefs, convincing myself that Ship30For30 wasn’t the right fit for me. As this new year unfolds, I am setting an intention to write more than I did last year.

I am proud that I published 61 posts on Medium. Posting more consistently on a daily basis is what I am looking to get out of the process of going through the cohort. Engaging in cohort-based courses, where lively interactions are as indispensable as the classes themselves, truly unleashes my potential to learn. Unlike in self-paced courses, here, I have an invitation, to engage with enthusiastic individuals who all turn up with similar aspirations.

I have lots of content that I acquire and sometimes never visit since I am never in the moment. Which is neither a good thing nor a bad thing. It is simply a part of my personality that I have noticed. Live cohorts add a layer of accountability for me to take action. This is why I am excited to be a part of the current Ship30For30 Cohort. Let me know if you have any experiences with cohort-based courses and what you think of them.
