Are you truly fully alive? Most people spend much of their lives living on auto-pilot. They go through the motions of living without being fully engaged? This may save them from having to make stressful choices and decisions and it may even anesthetize them from painful experiences. but robs them of the joy of being fully engaged in life.

Painful past experiences make anesthesia and auto-pilot appear attractive but in reality, they are fool’s gold. It is in choosing to free ourselves from the past that we throw open the doors to emotional freedom to live the life we envision in the future.

What Does the Freedom to Be Fully Alive Look Like?

The Freedom to Be Fully Alive Starts With Releasing Personal Roadblocks and Mindblocks

Personal roadblocks include things like

  • Skills you need to take you to the next level
  • Money
  • Time
  • Lack of a support network
  • Working space.

What these all have in common is that they are tangible needs that become rationalizations for inaction. We see them as roadblocks but in reality, they are mindblocks.

Mindblocks are things like

  • The legacy of childhood abuse
  • The voices in the back of your head telling you you can’t because…
  • Procrastination
  • Lack of clarity
  • Lack of focus

These are just the tip of the iceberg. The essential thing to understand is that mindblocks create roadblocks. To clear the roadblocks it is essential to clear the mindblocks first.

The Freedom to Be Fully Alive Removes Limits on Your Vision for Your Future

Once the mindblocks are cleared, the roadblocks can be readily cleared. At that point, there is nothing blocking your vision of what your future can be. The limits are gone.

Initially, this may feel scary because a future without limits is a whole new concept. It will not take long for you to excitedly embrace the freedom of a future without limits.

If your first steps into this new world of freedom are a bit tentative because it is all new, that is ok. You will quickly adjust. You will freely envision what is possible in every area of your life, and embrace those things not just as probabilities, but as realities of what is possible.

Embracing the Freedom to Be Fully Alive Results in Achieving Each Success You Envision.

Think how amazing it would be to envision success in achieving a particular goal. The mindblocks are gone. The roadblocks are gone. There is no reason for fear or procrastination. You have clarity about that goal. You know why it is important to you and you have a clear path from where you are to where you are going. How would that freedom change the trajectory of your life?
