Embodiment
Aligning the physical being and mind with that which you want to become.
We understand words carry profound meaning.
Words are powerful weapons of destruction or messages of love and hope.
I recall some words said to me once that caused me to vomit. Unable to stomach.
I had a great boss who would cleverly use words to raise our spirits into action to achieve results.
Let us talk about Embodiment.
Aligning the physical being and mind into action with that which one wants to become. Once we understand the meaning, we can achieve anything we want.
Embodiment does not mean you will become the next swimming Olympic gold winner. It means you are to be the best version of yourself in your chosen field. Set the intention in purity, line up, and take action toward the intended goal.
I joined Medium recently; where have I been? I did not know it even existed until a couple of weeks ago, a positive platform full of words, self-expression, and mind expansion.
Initially, I was full of self-doubt; awareness kicked in, nobody is a writer until they begin writing, so I have not stopped writing for a week; The intention was to be the best writer to reach my highest growth potential in this area. I do not compare myself to the other writers I wish to write with my unique authenticity.
Words carry intention.
The more we study words we recognise the intention behind the words used. Recently my friend texted me to let me know she was running late and did I still want to meet. I responded that I was still happy to meet or rearrange if she preferred. I knew she would choose the latter based on the words of the original text. Straight talk and honesty are the best courses of action; we all know where we stand (Father Christmas is the exception).
Embodiment is lining up with what you want to become so the universe can deliver it to you.
The piece below by GnanVi_Speaks is a beautiful example of embodying joy into being.
Childhood teaches us
Do you recall when you were a child role-playing what you wanted to be? One day you play astronauts, teachers, doctors, or cowboys. As children, we have not developed self-doubt. Children embody who they are.
Thank you for reading. I would love to hear your comments and experiences relating to a time you embodied what you wanted to be and achieved success.
