Emails From the Universe

A profound life-changing cyber anomaly

Since she was young Donna always felt that she was unwanted. Her mother once told her that her older sister was the only planned child; that Donna was an accident. Throughout childhood she had trouble fitting in with her family and in school. She never had friends for long.

By the time she was in her mid-thirties she had no boyfriend, no husband, no children, and no friends. She had a job sitting in front of a computer all day inputting data. To Donna, it was the most horrifically boring job in the world.

One day at work a pop-up mysteriously appeared on her computer screen. It read:

“Feeling unwanted? Change your direction. Instead of focusing on being wanted, focus on what YOU want! Check your email when you get home tonight for more details.”

Donna looked around the office. Everything seemed normal. Looking back at her computer screen, the pop-up was gone. The company she worked for had top of the line cyber security in place. A pop-up like that should not have happened. She wondered if she should report it but instead she just went back to work.

At home that night Donna turned on her laptop and went to her email account. She found nothing referring to that pop-up in her main folders so she checked her spam folder and there it was; an email entitled, Feeling unwanted, Donna?

She hesitated a long time before clicking on it. Finally she did and it read:

Donna, the truth is that you really are wanted. You are wanted by the Universe. The Universe wants you and loves you so much that you never have to feel unwanted again. Knowing that you are wanted so much you no longer have to feel unwanted and can instead focus exclusively on what YOU want. The Universe wants you to have a life of supreme joy, abundance and vibrant health and it wants to support you in all the experiences that you want. The Universe wants you as the child it can nurture, support, empower, and love.

For the sake of expediency you might want to mark this email as ‘Not Spam’ so that our future emails show up in your main folder. You will get another email tomorrow evening with further instructions. If you follow our instructions and guidance you will soon have everything you have ever wanted. In the meantime we want you to make a list of the ten things you want more than anything. -The Universe

Donna got out a piece of paper and began making a list of things she really wanted. She wanted a new job that was more challenging and creative and which paid better. She wanted a new car. She wanted a boyfriend who truly loved her (she wasn’t even sure what that was like). She wanted to take a vacation to Costa Rica (she had always wanted to go there). She wanted a new wardrobe. She wanted a tribe of unconditionally loving friends who supported her. She wanted a bigger house just outside of the city. She wanted recognition for her work. She wanted a family. She wanted a child.

Rereading the list, Donna suddenly felt that she did not deserve any of those things. No matter how hard she tried to get those things they would never come to her. She crumbled up the piece of paper and tossed it into the waste paper basket.

The next day at work while inputting data on her computer after lunch another pop-up appeared on her computer screen. It read:

Donna, thank you for making your list and thank you also for throwing it out. Now we want you to make a new list. Make it a list of what you want even more than a new job, a new car, a new house, a new wardrobe, a vacation to Costa Rica, new recognition, new friends, new family, new boyfriend, and a baby. This time the list doesn’t have to have ten things. It can be much shorter. -The Universe

As soon as she read the pop-up it disappeared. Donna was freaked out. She was the only person who saw the list she had made the night before! How could anyone know what she put on her list in order to send her that pop-up? What the hell was going on? Once again she looked around the office to see if anyone was watching her.

Over the course of the afternoon Donna slowly came out of her freaked out state. She calmed down and began thinking about what she wanted even more than all those things on her original list.

Later that evening after dinner Donna sat down at her desk and was about to boot up her laptop when she first decided to get out another sheet of paper and make a new list as The Universe suggested. She thought long and hard but could only come up with two items for her new list:

I want to be at peace. I want to be loved.

Finally, she booted up her laptop then went straight for her email. She saw no new message from The Universe but then remembered to check her spam folder and, sure enough, there was a new message:

That’s a much, much better list, Donna. Kudos.

In order to be at peace you must become aware of and relinquish ALL negative thoughts and attitudes and the emotions that come with those negative thoughts and attitudes. That is what stands in the way of true peace.

As for being loved, know that The Universe has an infinite supply of love that it is showering you with at all times. It can never be depleted. It is always there, 24/7/365. You are always being loved!

You stated that you wanted to be loved not realizing that you already are. It may be better to state that you want to love yourself. While The Universe loves you all the time, you don’t love yourself nearly as much. That is what you are down there on that planet for; to love yourself into existence.

To love yourself you must first be in a state of true peace within yourself (see above). That is when your awareness opens up. That is when you begin feeling that love The Universe is pouring through you at all times. Feeling that love from The Universe makes it much easier and natural to begin to love yourself. After all, you are part of The Universe. Once you truly begin loving yourself then the people and world around you begin reflecting that love. You will never feel unwanted or unloved again. (And those things on your first list will become much easier to obtain.)

Be at peace and love yourself. When you do that everything else falls into place.

By the way, you failed to mark our last email as ‘not spam.’ That’s okay, though, because now you have all the information you need to know and there is no longer any need for all this cyber tomfoolery. If you ever want to ask The Universe a question just get into a state of pure peace and love then ask from your heart. In its endless love for you The Universe will answer.
