Elon Musk’s Twitter Plans Have Been Revealed
Elon Musk Twitter Takeover

Elon Musk acquired Twitter in a US$44 billion deal on April 25, 2022. After successfully bidding on Twitter, Elon Musk’s plans for Twitter have been exposed.
Elon Musk is said to have delivered a presentation deck this week saying that he will grow Twitter’s income from US$5 billion last year to US$26.4 billion in 2028.
Musk also plans to boost Twitter’s user base from 217 million at the end of last year to over 600 million in 2025 and 931 million in 2028. The majority of that increase will come from Twitter’s ad-supported services, such as Twitter Blue, which costs $3 per month and allows users to tailor their app experience. Twitter Blue would have 69 million users by 2025 and 159 million by 2028.
Musk expects to increase Twitter’s average income per user. He targets US$30.22 in average income per user in 2028, up from US$24.83 last year.
Musk is expected to hire new engineering expertise. “If Twitter acquisition completes, the company will be super focused on hardcore software engineering, design, infosec & server hardware”, Musk twitted. Musk expects Twitter to have 11,072 workers by 2025. This is an increase from roughly 7,500 today.
