Elon Musk Makes Telekinesis Real, Scientific & Life Changing!

Moving stuff with your mind is no longer just fantasy

Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain chip has been placed in the first patient, who is now able to use a computer mouse using only their thoughts. This paves the way for a future of telekinesis-type behaviour where people can move technological devices using only the power of their minds.

The implants allow users to control tech with their minds if they have limited use of their hands, or no hands. It’s intended to make getting things done much easier for some disabled people.

The chip was implanted a month ago, and last Monday, Musk announced on X: “Progress is good, the patient seems to have made a full recovery, with no ill effects that we are aware of.

“Patient is able to move the mouse around the screen by just thinking.”

Now the development team is trying to make it as flexible, functional, and capable as possible.

Musk continued: “That’s what we’re currently working on. Can you get left mouse, right mouse, mouse down, mouse up? Which is needed if you want to click and drag something.”

The implant, described as a ‘surgical robot’ is fitted into part of the brain responsible for movement. Signals are transmitted to an app that responds with the intended movement.

People with spinal cord injuries are taking part in the trials, but it also has the potential to be used for people with missing limbs and motor neurone disease. The first study will be completed in around six years.
