Elevator to Heaven

“We’re going up up up up UP!”

Jason jammed the elevator button another twenty times before the door slowly opened with a ding!

Already inside was a girl dressed in a plain white gown, wearing cheap-looking angel wings. He stepped in cautiously.

“Floor?”

Jason chuckled awkwardly. “All the way to the top.”

She chuckled. “Me too.”

The doors closed.

After minutes of silence, he started to pace nervously. “A little young to work here?”

“I’m collecting,” she pouted.

The elevator shifted through the roof; they were floating ever higher!

She drew her knife. “Die, demon!”

Jason was flabbergasted. “But why?”

“How I knew? *I* wasn’t abhorrent!”
