Clean electric cars reduce indirect emissions, Cities with tunnels could save by not having to vent fumes from dirty car exhausts, Overall improving living conditions for people living near exhaust stacks.
Self-driving cars using AI systems capable of sensing environment and moving safely without human input, Many implications, But I’m intrigued with how using electric self drive cars could change our transport habits and perhaps transform our world.

No fuel engine, Electric motors in wheel hubs, Space saving battery locations, More passengers in conventional car’s road footprint, More people each car could reduce number of cars in peak-hour congestion.
Cars can be fitted with self-aligning wheel assemblies allowing turning wheels 90 degrees for tight parallel parking in restricted spaces, Parking spaces monitored for automatic allocation, No more pointless driving looking for those very squeezy spaces.

Car’s AI system could link with regional AI systems, Facilitating cars to form closely spaced trains of cars under centralised control, Use road space more efficiently and through better control increase traffic throughput, Not to mention less traffic accidents.
Implications
Reduced car numbers better road management less car emissions reduces requirements for new roads or widening existing roads, Great goal to strive for!

Self-drive electric cars have simplified service requirements, Can drive themselves service centre and return after check-over.
Better yet, Community owned shared cars allows drivers to not worry about servicing at all, Car know when fixing needed, Drives itself to garage and swapped with another car.

Self-drive car allows centralised community based self-organised car pools.
Together with car train idea, Car pooling becomes matter Of just buying ticket and being picked up front door.

Work from home proved not only possible but profitable, Better family life, Better community spirit, Some corporates upset loosing power to dominate and control us lazy workers, Give ’em the finger, No quite quitting, Least that’s what I did.
Huge opportunities coming our way, All these ideas are happening, But require large infrastructure projects with community support Local employment for us lazy workers, Our lives once more focussed on traditional values.
With mantra of “Electrify everything” we’ll move to wide spread renewable energy, Resources at level of individual homes and local communities, Thing I love notion of putting power and control back where it belongs, With us!
