Investing in yourself and your personal brand is one of the smartest investments you can make in your life.

Your personal brand is your reputation and you need to build it with consistency, hard work, and passion.

Creating your personal brand starts with figuring out your key playing field. Where are you playing? In this field, how can you consistently create assets that are original and compelling? How can you be great at what you do?

You need to think and act like a media company and make sure you have the best online presence you can have. It helps to create useful and entertaining content and do this consistently over time.

You need to be your authentic self. This means you will embrace your quirkiness and develop your own voice. It also means you need to tell your own stories that have made you who you are — even if you feel vulnerable or naked.

You also need to strive towards the goal of establishing yourself as a key player in your own game or industry. This means you need to provide a unique value proposition that will set you apart from others.

Remember: This is a lifetime marathon. Invest in yourself, compound yourself over time, and play the long term game.

Towards a more authentic and passionate life;
