Is It Okay For Writers to Outsource Their Writing in Order To Gain Traction Quickly?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that writers who up until yesterday required multiple edits on their essays are all of a sudden producing top-notch articles?
From newbie to professional in a matter of a few months?
Mind you I am no expert but I have been writing for a year now and do know a thing or two about writing. I write for big pubs like The StartUp as well as other digital publications and also have 19 viral particles (10K + views) on NewsBreak but I still believe there is a lot of room for improvement.
Having read voraciously all my life and seen the before and after growth from consistent writing in the case of my peers (those who are new to writing like me)— I would say growth in writing is mostly gradual and more that growth is very noticeable.
It is certainly not 0 to 100 mph within seconds.
Again as an ESOL tutor, I have noticed that it takes months for my students to grasp the basics of grammar and correctly apply them in sentences. Forget idioms and such — American English can really throw one for the loop — but here we observe a sudden transformation -articles with the most perfectly structured sentences, nary a grammar mistake in sight, excellent choice of words, and the concluding paragraph deserves a standing ovation.
Or could this be a case of the ugly duckling in real life?
Someone who has great natural talent and was biding time to come out shining. Then again it could be one of those writing courses that promise to completely transform your writing. Or AI.
Hmmm….
I’m curious — have you noticed this trend? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
