Easter Rainbow

This morning, as I went about my usual walk, I anticipated nothing out of the ordinary, even though it happened to be Easter Sunday.
Except for the unusually warm weather, even at the early hour of 6:30 am.
Following my regular route, I noticed a beautiful golden glow on a row of housing estates in the distance.
I hastened my pace, hoping to capture this fleeting moment before it vanished.
Unfortunately, the golden glow faded off almost as quickly as it appeared, leaving me feeling disappointed for not reaching it in time.
As I continued my walk, I took one last glance back at the missed opportunity.
To my surprise, I spotted a small, colourful spot in the sky. Could it be a rainbow, or merely my eyes playing tricks on me?

Deciding not to take any chances, I quickly snapped a photo before this sight vanished.

I knew I could examine it more closely on my computer monitor once I returned home. I also tried using the digital zoom of my iPhone’s camera to have a closer view.

Then, as if by magic, the small, colourful patch began to grow and evolve right before my eyes until it blossomed into a full-fledged rainbow.

At that moment, I felt a rush of joy and gratitude, realizing that what I thought was a missed opportunity earlier had actually led me to something even more extraordinary.

The rainbow, a symbol of hope, inspiration and promise, serves as a timely reminder that even in the midst of life’s storms, there is beauty to be found — and sometimes, the most remarkable moments emerge when we least expect them.
Wishing everyone here a joyful Easter filled with love, peace, and happiness.
