Earth and The Moon; Like You and I.
A short poetic story
After reading my fellow poet Chrissie Morris Brady Ph.D.’s Moon poem, she published on ILLUMINATION, I couldn’t stop myself writing about the moon — my way.
Thanks Chrissie for inspiring me.
Like the moon orbiting Earth my life revolves around you; for what it’s worth
But unlike the moon; Earth’s only natural satellite I’m not alone, making your world bright
Moon’s distance from Earth is gradually increasing for me, staying away from you is also not pleasing
Moon; adding beauty to the earthly sky that heavenly feeling when together are: you and I
Forming of the moon; some 4.51 billions years ago I, to burn in your love when God created our souls
Gravitational attraction of Earth & the moon creating ocean tides Similar magic you’ve done to me, consuming me, from all sides!
Salam wrote about his phobia — give it a read to learn how he overcame it. If he could, you could, too.
