Drowning Me Crazy

My muse and my sleepy eyes

blinking, droopy eyes of mine don’t fail me, please tonight blinding lights causing teardrops on my sight spare me a moment I’m building my fight

smoldering eyes wandering thoughts groping deeper juicy notions alight told you to think clearer you’re not listening still

hey sunken, squinty twitching eyes focus most you’ll find me within the inmost depths of your soul raw, deformed the beauty within still unexplored

keep driving away those slimy boogers controlling the light my fingers on the keyboard don’t let me be out of touch grab me quick before I slip in haste

like the good witch of the North in Dorothy’s day come forth take hold and guide me

let me hide unto the bottom of your heart imprison me where I could rest heave my spicy breath just for this night
