Drenched Determination: Gambling the Odds on an Unlucky Rain-Soaked Exercise

It is the rainy season in my area, and it rains almost every day. I can’t do my usual long-distance walking exercise nowadays. However, after so many days without exercise, I decided to go out for a walk. I waited for the rain to finish, rested a bit, and then went for a walk
As I stepped outside, walking for a good half an hour or so, I could sense the imminent change in the atmosphere. The sky, once a canvas of serene blue, now transformed into a tapestry of ominous gray clouds, pregnant with the promise of rain. In my mind I was thinking, this is bad, it’s going to rain again.
The first droplets descended from the heavens, timid and hesitant, as if testing the waters. I gazed upwards, feeling the cool kiss of raindrops on my face. With each passing moment, the intensity of the rain increased, and soon I found myself amid a deluge. Instead of seeking shelter, I decided to walk back straight home.
As I strolled through the drenched streets, I couldn’t help but think I made a wrong gamble, I thought it was not going to rain, or at least not so soon. The rain intensified, and soon I was drenched from head to toe. My clothes clung to my body, and my hair hung heavy with moisture. I prayed hard I better don’t fall sick.
As I reached home, I quickly rushed to the bathroom to bathe, in the aftermath of this impromptu rain-soaked adventure, I couldn’t help but reflect next time I better not gamble on luck, or just exercise indoors during the rainy season.
That’s all for today, thank you for reading.
