Dream of Rain
Poetry of Love
It must be you, Seeing through, You know me so well.
In your secret soul, There is someone deep, I can tell.
Won’t you look, out, for me, Someday.
’Cause we know I belong with you, in the dream of rain.
So I drive on, through the mountains, ‘Cross the State,
Just to fall, down with you, in the dream of rain.
I want to fall down with you, in the dream of rain.
In special air, Sometimes you’re not there, Missing like a star.
I must be mad, Or maybe just sad, I try to see where you are.
Won’t you follow - down the river, Someday.
Lock me in to your deepest realm, Like the dream of rain.
And I won’t care if lightning strikes me,
I’m good for the pain …
‘Cause I love you and it’s always divine in the dream of rain.
Where I hear that you are truly mine, in the dream of rain.
So won’t you look, around for me, Someday.
Swirling out in my silver dress, Across the wilderness.
And I won’t care if lightning strikes me, I’m not afraid.
When I’m falling down with you in the dream of rain.
So won’t you look, out … for me
Someday.
