The routine begins with hydrating the body and replenishing essential nutrients by drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water with added lemon and electrolytes. This helps restore hydration and provides a boost of nutrients to kickstart the day.
Next, Dr. Vuu incorporates a five-minute exercise routine based on qigong, a gentle and mindful exercise practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. The routine includes qigong hops and twists, which help energize the body and improve focus. It is followed by a round of 10 to 15 burpees, providing a burst of high-intensity training.
