Doubt Behind Winning

Watching 60 Minutes last night interview with Rafael Nadal and he said, “If I don’t feel doubt, I am in trouble.” I agree. I was told that I worry about certain things too much and it always turns out well. Experience has taught me that the things I worry about, really turn out well for me.
While the things I don’t worry about cost me more. You see, my self-doubt is what I use to double and triple check things. My self-doubt keeps me on guard, on my toes and focus. Then I win. For many of us, self-doubt is behind our victory as a reminder of what losing or failure taste or look like. Use your self-doubt to keep you focused, on target and to win.
