Teaching Sex Orientation
Don’t We Hear that this isn’t Happening?
“School district in CA secretly pushes sexual orientation to 3rd graders in public school behind parents' backs.”
“Parents of children in the Glendale Unified School District became incensed when they realized a third grade teacher was colluding with district officials to instruct eight-year-old students on gender identity and sexuality. Parents castrated the school board at a meeting on April 19.” — Chief Editor of Conservativefighter.com
Before you jump on Conservative fighter, I’ve fact checked this article and I found nothing. This pub is a newsletter I subscribed to years ago mostly out of curiosity, but it usually gets deleted along with lots of other political pubs I don’t read, but this headline caught my eye and so I read it.
I was somewhat relieved to see this occurred in California, which didn’t surprise me given that San Francisco has the highest percentage of adults who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender in the country.
But, is it any wonder parents got in an uproar?
“Parents filed a public records request which turned up emails showing that their kid’s teacher was presenting videos on LGBTQ ideology to their children and making inappropriate comments about nudity.” — Per the article.
Propaganda much?…
At a school board meeting that was requested, parents laid out the issue about this teacher’s choice of teaching by saying, “instead of being concerned about what she (the teacher) did wrong, she went to the District where she asked for ways she could continue to teach sexual orientation to her third graders and she was told “to steer clear of red flag words like ‘sexual’ and ‘coming out’ so she could fly under the radar…” The district even praised her for her bravery.
If this doesn’t scream propaganda and collusion, I don’t know what does.
This teacher had also planned 3 whole days of curriculum she planned to teach that week on gay pride and sexual orientation — TO THIRD GRADERS.
One parent brought up a valid point that unless all the students were earning A’s in math, English, grammar, social studies how is it okay to dedicate three days a week to teach eight year olds about sexual orientation?
She went on to say, “never mind what kind sex is being discussed, the words ‘sexuality’ and ‘nudity’ do not belong in the ears of eight year olds.”
Parents demanded answers from the Principal, but they got the old PC line of how their concerns would be taken into consideration, and that their voices had been heard. However, one week later the parents got an email that said the administrators were doubling down on exposing 3rd graders to a very specific gender ideology, even after parents asked that their children be opted out of ‘these lessons.’
I’m not against gays, but to me this is sexual propaganda and it has no place being taught on the elementary school level, but that’s my opinion as a grandmother with a 40 yr old adult child who says she wasn’t taught much about sex at school outside reading a couple of chapters in a Health textbook in middle school.
So what do you think? I know I’ve got some followers who are/ were public school teachers so I can’t help but wonder how they feel about this? I welcome to all comments.
Thank you for reading and thoughtful writing everyone!
