Don’t take yourself too seriously, folks.

My first post in years. Years! And what do I do? Upload the wrong pic.

We’ve all been there. Working in front of a screen for hours. Feeling like you might jump out of your seat … until you actually jump out of your seat and pace away some of the adrenaline.

I managed to misspell one of my main character’s names last night.

Her name is Abby, short for Abigail. But the pic I uploaded for my first Pillow Princess post spells it Abbie. I don’t even know why I spelled it that way in the first place.

I caught it and fixed it. But then when I made my post last night, I used the misspelled name.

Ah.

Sometimes you just gotta laugh.

Abby and Zack graduated the same high school together. They got accepted into the same college. With the same major. So it’s kind of obvious they got together.

They’re a spicey and open-minded couple. But even spicey and open-minded couples have their problems.

Abby did something Zack didn’t want her to do. With someone he didn’t want her to do it with. And while Zack thinks he knows what happened, Abby doesn’t tell him everything.

But she doesn’t want to lose him.

A few days into their break, Abby drives over to the house Zack shares with two other guys. She’s riddled with guilt and desire. She wants him back. She wants to apologize. She figures he’ll be upset.

What she gets is not at all what she expects.
