Don’t Miss These 4 Amazing Stories
Warning: High risk of adding books to your TBR-list

Can you imagine something better than snuggling up with a cup of coffee and a captivating book? No? Fellow bookworms, keep reading to discover new books. It’s time to grow your TBR (To Be Read)-list.
“Books, for me, are a home. Books don’t make a home — they are one, in the sense that just as you do with a door, you open a book, and you go inside. Inside there is a different kind of time and a different kind of space.” — Jeanette Winterson
As a book lover, I treasure my sources of inspiration. In this article, I’ve gathered some stories you definitely shouldn’t miss. Here are four marvelous stories that will undoubtedly grow your TBR-list.
6 Stand-Alone Fantasy Novels
Fantasy lovers, read Anangsha Alammyan’s story My Favorite Stand-Alone Fantasy Novels Of All Time.
Anangsha says in her story that fantasy fiction is her favorite genre. I couldn’t agree more. She has “listed six of the most intriguing fantasy novels that are complete in themselves.” It is a perfect collection of books!
The House on the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune is now on my Christmas wish list.
30 Nonfiction Favorites
Get enlightened by the books in Bobby Powers’s story I’ve Read Over 700 Books in the Past 10 Years. These Are My 30 Nonfiction Favorites.
Bobby says reading is his favorite hobby. Amen to that.
My list has grown further, and is now including the books Quiet by Susan Cain, Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull, Grit by Angela Duckworth, Mindset by Carol Dweck, and On Writing by Stephen King.
I’ve read Deep Work by Cal Newport earlier this year, and it was indeed an eye-opener. My story about Deep Work, Get Out of Hibernate Mode and Start Producing Content is by far my most viewed story.
4 Captivating Thrillers
There is something about thrillers in the autumn, isn’t it? To get in the right mood before Halloween, check out Margaret Pan’s story 4 Enticing Thrillers That’ll Keep You Turning the Page.
I always appreciate a good thriller. Bird Box by Josh Malerman and Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine are put on my growing TBR-list.
8 Lesser-Known Fantasy Book Series
Eliza Bachard’s story 8 Best Fantasy Book Series You Haven’t Heard of (Yet) amazed me. I was pleasantly surprised by her unexpected recommendation.
Eliza states, “Fantasy is a crowded scene nowadays, so it’s easy for these truly excellent contenders to slip beneath your notice. But consider this blog post a chance to rectify that.” So I urge you to click on this link and read the story.
Eliza has convinced me to read The Raybearer Series by Jordan Ifueko, The Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, and The Shades of Magic by V. E. Schwab. I could have put all the books in her story on my TBR-list, but I fear the list will be too long. Although I could happily read all day, I must have an acceptable work-family-read balance.
“That I can read and be happy while I am reading, is a great blessing.” — Anthony Trollope
Light the candle, make your favorite hot beverage, and curl up under a blanket. Start reading a wonderful book. Enjoy the autumn. The stories in this article present exciting books to read in 2021.
