laughing came so easily conversations that were effortless happy coincidences followed by inside jokes more thrilling than passing notes in study hall without getting caught smiling so hard that my face hurt pure joy that radiated from my innermost to my outermost like a Christmas tree on full display holding hands with you felt like the buckle on the seatbelt clicking into place simply uncomplicated uncontrived time stood still breathless with anticipation until our next encounter all the makings of a great love story in a single, heady summer better than a sappy Hallmark Channel movie because it was real
