Don’t Do This Type of Marketing
It’s spam, and you’ll lose.
I got this comment on one of my posts recently:

Of course, I recognized this as spam right away, but being a curious person, I went to this person’s LinkTree. Here’s what it looks like:

One link to a weight loss product.
I had to click on it to see where it led me, and look at this:

I would love to ask “Jessica” one question.
Why?
Why waste even a second of your time trying to do marketing this way? Do people actually click on this? It seems like a waste of energy.
I know people out there teach this type of marketing.
If you see it, run.
Run far, far away.
Instead, learn from the brilliant marketers on this platform. (Check out the Better Marketing publication.) It’ll be much easier in the long run to win if you do things right.
Otherwise, you’ll constantly get kicked off every platform you enter, having to start over again every time. And that sounds like a lot of work…
