Don’t Be Hard On Yourself! You Can Achieve Your Goal In 2022
Up your game! Stop blaming yourself

I know most of you must be feeling down and saying:
“Another year, and I didn’t achieve my goal.”
“I feel like a failure.”
Stop right now, my friend! I’ve been there; I know how it feels.
Please don’t be too hard on yourself.
Whether your goal is financial, work-related, health, or any other milestone you want to achieve, YOU CAN DO IT!
Yes, there is time. Stop focusing on the negative. Change the narrative
Instead of regretting what you haven’t done, focus on the things you have done.
You’ve probably made some progress, even if it’s not so evident.
That’s why I’m writing to you today — because YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE!
You will achieve your goal in 2022, but only if you take massive and consistent action towards it.
The key is “Don’t Stop Trying.”
You can achieve your goal by 2022 if you take the following six steps:
1) Track your goals on a daily basis
I suggest you have tangible evidence of progress.
-Write down your goal, the steps you need to take to achieve it, and track your progress daily.
-Journaling is a great way of doing that!
-Plan the day like you would do for any other project.
Set your goals, plan everything in detail, and then track it on a daily basis.
Don’t stop trying until 2022 is achieved. If you are feeling discouraged right now — listen to positive affirmations. Say to your heart, “I’ve got this.”
2) Divide your primary goal into milestones
Your primary goal is a huge task. It’s hard to think about the result…in the process, you are most likely to get discouraged.
That’s why it’s important to divide your primary goal into milestones — smaller tasks that will lead you to the result.
It will make the process more manageable, and you’ll be able to see your progress.
Example: If your goal is to save $1000 in 12 months, divide it into smaller goals like saving $100 in a month or even saving $50 in a week.
You get the idea!
Milestones give you a sense of accomplishment and make you feel good about yourself.
They are important because they show that you’re making progress, even if it’s slow.
Each milestone should have its own deadline and should be achievable within a reasonable amount of time.
3) Celebrate milestones with family and friends who support you
Celebrating milestones with your family and friends is a great way to stay motivated.
When you reach a milestone, you feel accomplished. You can’t help but tell everyone about it!
If someone has doubts that achieving the goal will be hard for you — share how much work it took and celebrate that you accomplished this task.
Sharing your journey with the people who care about you is a great way to stay on track.
Such people are there to encourage you and give you positive vibes when things get tough.
Make sure that they understand your goal and what it means to you.
4) Take breaks from time to time
It’s ok to take breaks. (Don’t make it a big deal)
When you feel like it’s time to rest, stop working on your primary goal. You can always make a U-turn and come back to it later when you want something new in your life.
The important thing is that you don’t stop moving forward towards achieving what matters most to YOU!
5) Set realistic short-term goals
It’s important to set realistic short-term goals because they are achievable, and you can see your progress easily.
They keep you motivated and on track!
Example: If saving $100 in a month is your short-term goal, then you’ll be able to achieve it within 30 days. This will give you the momentum to keep going.
Short-term goals are great because they can be achieved in a reasonable amount of time. They do not make you feel overwhelmed or demotivated but give you the strength to take your next step towards achieving what matters most to YOU!
Remember that there is no rush, so don’t worry if it takes some time to achieve your short-term goals.
It’s much better to stay consistent and keep working towards them than to quit after two weeks of not seeing any progress!
When you feel discouraged, come back here, read the blog post again, or listen to this positive affirmation. Say to yourself, “I’ve got this.”
6) Be patient with yourself
It’s important to be patient with yourself, my friend. Remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day!
You’re not going to achieve every single goal overnight. It will take time, perseverance, and hard work.
But it’s worth it!
The feeling of accomplishment when you finally achieve what you’ve been working for is amazing!
You’ll start giving negative messages to your brain if you don’t learn how to be patient with yourself.
Remember, even the one who is writing this blog for you…oh yeah, “ME,” I had my own bucket of setbacks.
In 2019, I set a goal for myself to become self-employed, but I fulfilled it in 2021.
So yeah, be patient with yourself and don’t give up on your dreams!
Take a deep breath, relax and know that you can do it!
Now it’s time to continue writing your goal into smaller tasks that will lead you there.
In the process, if you feel overwhelmed or experience any doubts — come back to the blog post.
I will be here for you!
