Done is Better Than Perfect
Letting go of perfectionism
Perfectionism is about the stories we tell ourselves regarding what and how we should be. It is the critical perception of what we ultimately desire of something.
It is about setting on a path of often unattainable expectations and constantly comparing our current reality to where we hope to be in the future.
It is also how we set ourselves up for failure because perfect does not really exist.
Done is better than perfect.
Done exposes us to feedback and grants us with opportunities to improve.
Consider that progress is instrumental for personal and professional development, so the next time you catch yourself striving for perfectionism, let it go.
Proceed with where you at at because that where you are at might just serve as the stepping stone or springboard that you didn’t know was below your feet.
