Summary

The undefined website content outlines the inception and development of an exclusive club for erotic writers, providing a space for them to live out and authentically write about their sexual fantasies, with a focus on security and discretion.

Abstract

The narrative begins with the protagonist mourning the loss of their cat, Gypsy, and transitioning from a personal loss to a professional opportunity after receiving a message from Polly, a close writing circle member. The two collaborate on an innovative business idea: a club where erotic writers can share ideas, experiences, and engage in their sexual fantasies for the sake of narrative authenticity. They emphasize the importance of security, given the sensitive nature of their venture, and find a valuable ally in Vincent, a security company owner. With Vincent's help, they connect with Ebony, an experienced sex club owner, who agrees to mentor them. The club's offerings range from social mingling to BDSM play, with a clear set of rules and guidelines established to ensure consent, respect, and communication. The founders, Polly and the protagonist, are selective in their membership process, ensuring the club caters to writers from diverse backgrounds. As the club gains popularity, they hire a real-life Dom, Dominatrix, and a kink adviser to maintain the integrity of their vision. The narrative concludes with the club's success, becoming a renowned hub for erotic writers and their creative endeavors.

SEEDLING CHALLENGE | THE CLUB #5

Dominatrices, Dungeons and Dominants

The Business Plan: A club where erotic writers would come to not only share ideas, but also a place where each could live out their sexual fantasy in the name of authenticity.

That morning, I actually felt close to tears. Life didn’t seem the same without Gypsy mewling for his breakfast. I missed him. But he’d reached a grand age for a cat, and had often seemed old and grumpy towards the end of his days. I needed to bury him before he decomposed. The weather was heating up rapidly, but I had been procrastinating while I agonized over how belligerent my ex was behaving in regard to me spending a small fortune using his credit card. After all, he started the war, which was driving me to drink at all times of the day.

PING

“A message from Polly,” I said out loud, wondering what she wanted. We hadn’t spoken in a while, but were closer than most within our writing circle.

“… Collaboration…BDSM article… Lunch?” Sounded better than the day I had planned: which was going to be a quick swig of bourbon before digging up part of the garden as a resting place for Gypsy.

I shut the drinks cabinet and put Gypsy in the garage freezer. Then, while wriggling into my tightest black jeans and delving into the wardrobe looking for my coolest leather bomber jacket, a business idea began to swell in my brain until it was simply bursting to get out on to paper. But who would be the perfect business partner for this venture?

“Polly!”

As soon as I laid out my idea, Polly’s mouth pursed and eyes crinkled (a sure sign her interest had been piqued), before she got out her notepad and we began to brainstorm.

The Business Plan: A club where erotic writers would come to not only share ideas, but also a place where each one could live out their sexual fantasies in the name of authenticity. It is well-known that those penning a tale from experience create sexier and more relatable fiction than those who merely research the information online.

“Maizy darling, I do think security will be of the upmost importance,” Polly declared earnestly, looking over at me. And she was not wrong. It is well known within kink circles that good security can make a great difference between success and failure.

It seemed karma was on our side when a guy calling himself Vincent bought us a drink, and when he explained he ran a security company, we knew that question could be ticked off the list.

Vincent seemed to understand security would be of upmost importance when dealing with sensitive matters, such as bondage and dominance. After all, people may not want it to be public knowledge that they frequent an Erotic Writers Club, especially since our plan included a Dungeon, a Dominatrix and a Dom.

Although he seemed brash on the outside, as time went on, we learned Vincent had a heart of gold. Charming, witty and sensitive — a total asset to the new company.

In fact, once he was on board, things moved quickly. He told us about another client of his — Ebony. She ran an exclusive and very secret sex club, where the members were extremely high profile, so privacy and security were paramount. Vincent managed to set us up a meeting with her, and after our discussion, Polly and I began to realize what we were taking on — a challenge but one we were well-equipped for after both our years writing in the erotic genre, and my personal experience of bondage scenes. However, our team was far from complete. Ebony said she would be happy to mentor us until the club was up and running. We were thrilled as her confidence and calm demeanor rubbed off on the whole team.

Polly and I decided the club should be select, but not overly expensive. We wanted to cater for writers from all kinds of backgrounds. We created a menu showcasing the different scenarios we could offer, such as:

  1. Socializing and mingling: A room where you can simply get to know like-minded people. Swap kink ideas and share experiences.
  2. Exhibitionism and voyeurism: An area where these two practices can come to life. Those exploring exhibitionism can get down and dirty, while those writing about voyeurism can watch. Consent obtained from all parties involved.
  3. Group play: An event where writers exploring group sexual activities take place. These may involve orgies, group sex, or other consensual group interactions.
  4. BDSM: Individuals interested in BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism, and Masochism) will be directed to dedicated dungeons equipped with BDSM furniture, restraints, and other equipment. Plus a Dom or Dominatrix to direct the play.
  5. Fetish play: A safe area where those studying and/or expressing fetishes are not shamed.
  6. Pre-arranged Themed Parties: Centred around specific interests or fantasies. These can range from costume parties to fetish-themed nights.

To cater for all the above, Polly and I realized we would need to pen a set of strict rules and guidelines that visitors must follow. We once more liaised with Ebony and decided consent, respect, and communication should be key within these environments.

Now we had gone as far as we could without a location. Finding the perfect place was harder than expected, but our patience was rewarded.

Soon we employed a real life Dom and Dominatrix, plus a specialist kink adviser, to keep everyone on track.

Then we advertised and were totally shocked with the amount of writer inquiries. Polly and I sifted them into two — definite and maybes. Then we replied to everyone from the first pile, explaining they needed to send us a draft story/book idea so we could assess if our facilities would fit their needs.

It wasn’t long before bookings were coming in fast and furious, and so the infamous, exclusive erotic writing club became the talk of the town!
