Doctor, I Love You!
French Dr. Christian Chenay, a 98 year old veteran , still caring for his patient!

Dr. Christian of France in the picture above is one of the prime examples who does not want to see people suffering while he remains at home. He is doing his best despite his old age but he is satisfied and determined. Knowing the fact that Corona gets its dangerous form against people more than 60 years of age, he is still on the front lines.
Medical profession all over the world had been under huge criticism since years. Negligence on the part of doctors, nurses and paramedics was rampant. I believe, there is an immense decline in creativity due to advancement in technology. A short cut is pursued to achieve and maintain success. Medical profession is no exception.
I also had many complaints with the medical professionals and most of them are quite justified. As the world is going more and more materialistic, the medical profession is also losing its credibility and value.
But what happened during the corona pandemic worldwide, tells us another story. Corona is the disastrous virus the world has witnessed since decades. As we know, its communicable. Doctors know this well but they are fighting against this havoc to save humanity. The way, our doctors sacrificed their lives in the pandemic of Corona all over the world is unprecedented. They are giving more than 100℅. They have sacrificed their every comfort to cure their patients. They are the most vulnerable creatures at the moment.

I watched a video in which a lady doctor of Turkey meets her daughter of around 10 after a gap of more than 1 month. She had to remain away from her family due to Corona emergency and her daughter is kept with her grand parents. I can realize how it is heartrending to remain away form one’s kids. But hats off to such a professional who knows the value of sacrifice and prefers danger over comfort.
More than eight UK doctors died from corona virus and most importantly most of them are immigrants. This shows how they proved their worth in the worst times in a country where anti-immigrant sentiments were on the rise in the shape of almost done BREXIT. This is the acme of sacrifice . Nurses also sacrificed their lives in the battle against Corona. Malujean Ballesteros, 60, from Philippines and Areema Nasreen, 36, from Pakistan are the prominent figures in this regard.
Here in Pakistan, more than 15 doctors and a number of nurses have become a victim of corona so far and they are in quarantine. Young Dr. Usama Riaz lead the way and sacrificed his life and proved himself an altruistic soul. Famous Pakistani ENT specialist Dr. Mohammad Javed passed away two days ago due to Corona.
More than 15000 doctors, nurses, and health workers got infected in Spain due to corona. Many retired doctors have also been called back to manage workload in over crowded emergencies in the countries like Italy. The esteemed professionals are fighting wholeheartedly round the clock to help as many as they can.
In most parts of the world, the worthy doctors are performing their duties wearing disposable raincoats, garbage bags even; exposing themselves into the teeth of a horrible storm.

- I do not want to drag things. I just want to make a realization not only for myself but also for others. We criticise but we do not praise or the way we criticise, we do not appreciate like this in abundance. If I enlist the sacrifices of doctors and paramedics during this ongoing calamity, its impossible. So, lets pay tribute to our saviours wholeheartedly irrespective of caste, colour and creed. Its the matter of humanity at the moment nothing else.
I salute all doctors fighting in the forefronts to save us, our future and our generations. They are paragon of love, epitome of real sacrifice, symbol of hope in the darkness, embodiment of selflessness in this wave of materialism, beacon of light for those who have lost all kinds of hope. They have proved their worth against the odds. They have told the world how it is important to have them in the time of crisis. They are human beings but they have achieved the landmark of truthfulness, honesty, dignity and altruism.

I have no hesitation to say: I Love you Doctor form the very core of my heart and will remain always thankful to them. I cant pay back anything but believe me, my prayers are with you and your families. You are out in the field 24/7. And the prayers of people are with you. No reward can be more than prayers, believe me!
According to James Hilton, all the things are forgotten in the end.
Do you think the same for the invaluable sacrifices of Doctors?
