Do You See What I See?
February Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Hide & Seek”
Something special awaits at my doorstep.
Your eyes may have darted to the red and yellow candle or the trees covered in fluffy snow, but like a game of Where’s Waldo, you may eventually find it amongst the snow.
Last night, when I came home from work, the sky was dark, my fingers were shivering, yet something in me wanted to touch the fluffy snow around. Those on the warmer side of the planet may feel the same way about feeling mushy sand at your fingertips. For those who love to immerse themselves in nature walks, you may feel the same way about tree-hugging. Something in me wanted to be one with nature. So I reached out and began drawing into the snow under the dark sky.
This morning as I pulled open my curtains, I was surprised. I had forgotten all about the adventure I had last night. Greeting me this morning was something special right at my doorstep. How exciting!
We are to be the givers of joy to others and to ourselves. Yes, those who cross the street will see it as well, but it also makes me happy to see it. You can wait for happy moments to occur or you can begin creating your own happy moments because you deserve to smile at any time and at any place.
Have you found it yet?
“Can you publish a photo that represents “Hide & Seek” and tell a story about it in six words?”
