WAIT FOR IT AT .15 seconds
If you talk to the animals, they will talk with you, and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them, you will not know them, and what you do not know you will fear.
What one fears, one destroys.

Nature has filled my life here in Alaska. I am very fortunate to spend my afternoons after work and on weekends in all its rivers, ponds, fields, beaches, and woods that Alaska has to offer, including the wonderful wildlife. Animals have always come to me, in dreams and when I am awake.
Check out the video above, taken one morning while I was working. Wait for it until you see the moose turn around and make eye contact at the 15-second mark.
We had only been living in Alaska for the past three years and I have never ever seen a moose up close like this for the last 50+ years. When this moose pair came to stop by the house, I had the camera ready and especially ventured outside the porch to greet them.
With it all, I am always in awe at the wonder of nature, its multiplicity, I often wonder, what it is saying to me about my own life when I have these encounters. I often look for what is being taught; nature speaks to us if we can listen.
Every calf born is a reminder of rebirth, and every tree whispers the secret of life with its rustling leaves.
In reading about the language of animals, scriptures, and mythologies, I have surmised that there is a vein of lore surrounding the spirit of animals and the belief that the divine forces speak to humans through our natural world.
Humans are as much a part of the natural world as the natural world is of us.
Today, we often hear the phrase, “I need to get back to nature,” or “get in touch with nature once more.”
Have we ever been out of touch with nature?
The truth is, we have never been out of touch. We have always been as connected to Earth as it is to us.
Unfortunately, some may never realize and acknowledge this or are just unable to recognize it.
Here is the saddest part: when we fail to reverence any part of nature and our intimate connection with it, we fail to reverence intimate aspects of ourselves.
I have acknowledged that I am part of the natural world, and I have a responsibility to know as much about the environment in which I am living. The more I am able to understand it, the more I can understand myself.
Just like moving to a different country, you would need to learn about the language of that country in order to survive. The more you can understand the intricacies of that language, the dialect, and its uses, the more you are able to become effective in your life.
The natural world is part of your life and environment. If you truly want to become productive and explore your creativity, you will need to learn its languages.
The easiest and most enjoyable to learn is — Animal -Speak.
There are so many myths of a magical time and place where there were no boundaries between humans and animals. At one time, humans were at peace with the animals as they spoke their language. The wild and tame had no meaning. Animals were able to speak with humans; sometimes humans learned the animal tongue and the animals learned the human language. How is it that our dog responds to their names and commands, right?
There is so much that the animals can teach us about adaptation and survival. Why can’t we learn from them and use the same skills? There are some animals that never have cancerous conditions. Why can’t we learn their secrets? We can, if we learn how to speak to them.
When we can learn to start speaking with animals, that’s listening with animal ears and seeing through animal eyes, we can experience this phenomenon, the power, and this potential of human essence. It is then that we no longer feel that the animals are our subordinates.
Animals will then become our friends, teachers, and companions, where we can awaken our belief in magic, dreams, and possibilities.
