Do You Know Who the OFFICIAL Motivators Are On Medium?
Discover where to get effective motivation to earn money and build an audience!

The current motivational series that I’ve been publishing this year, is really helping me push myself a little further.
I can honestly say that I fall into the category of one of the writers helping to motivate the community.
But in no way do I believe I share this goal by myself. That was why I decided to settle on this week’s theme, about motivating our community of writers.
So far this year, I’ve noticed some stories from writers who are feeling down about their stats.
It’s my hope, that those individuals will read all the stories in this month-long series, and take advantage of some useful suggestions.
One great place to start, is by reading what the theme of this week’s series is all about:
How Medium Writers Help Motivate the Community!

Motivation comes from different sources
Whether you read the above-mentioned story, or you read it later, you will understand and appreciate the following information a lot more.
If there’s one thing you will notice about this Uplifted motivational series, is that motivation comes in all different forms and from various sources.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve enjoyed sharing some of those ways, which include: Fancy quotes, song lyrics, and even words of wisdom from fictional characters.
But this week will be somewhat different.
In keeping with the theme that I announced in the above mentioned story, I plan to share motivating comments from Medium writers.
But more specifically, I want to highlight those writers who tell it like it is, when it comes to what really works on the platform, and why so many writers are falling short.
I think it’s crucial that we understand the importance and the value of hearing the hard truths that can really help us succeed.
- Motivation is about more than feel good quotes and catch phrases.
- It’s more than simply being affected in an inspirational way, so that you see a clear path.
- Sometimes, motivation comes down to strong words and tough love, the kind that’s hard to hear and easy to run away from.
Just picture a hard-nosed drill sergeant or a no nonsense athletic coach. Not everyone has the tolerance, the patience, or the desire for this level of motivator.
That is why not every patriotic citizen decides to go into the military, and not every good athlete chooses to play at a competitive or professional level.
I’ve come to appreciate, that the way we’re built (or learn) to handle motivation, can often affect our levels of advancement.
I found out that people can achieve much more in life, if we allow ourselves to be open to different forms of motivation.
Another thing that helps, is the following advice…
Don’t sit and wait for motivation to come to you
If you’re serious about achieving more on Medium this year, you can’t afford to wait for motivation to come to you.
I believe that this is an important point and worth stressing.
You have to be willing to jump start your own battery, by seeking a source of motivation to plug into.
If your plans for 2023 consists of earning more money from your stories, then your plans should also include a reliable source of motivation.
Don’t just go with the obvious sources.
Be open to other avenues, other than those “feel good” motivators that enable you to stay in your comfort zone.
Some of the best motivators know how to provide the kind of honest, yet necessary evaluation of a situation, and point out the areas that need improvement.
The main thing to remember is this:
It doesn’t matter whether the motivation you get comes from a warm and fuzzy place, or from strong words and tough love, just as long as it’s the motivation you need.
Medium officials provide motivation
In the spirit of this week’s theme for my motivation series, I want to shine a light on our official motivators on Medium — the Medium creators.
For those of you who may not know it, we have a wonderful resource and excellent source of motivation, right here on Medium, and it’s all thanks to the creators of Medium.
Have you heard of the Creators Hub?
There’s a good chance you have, since this official Medium resource currently has 73k followers.
But even if you heard of it, perhaps you’re like I used to be — someone who had no clue about the benefits the Creators Hub provides.
This is how they put it in their own words:

In spite of the great degree of motivation they can provide to us, they also let us know in no uncertain terms:
“We’re not going to sugarcoat it: Building a readership is difficult, and it takes a lot of time, energy, and experimentation.”
When you’re really ready to start getting proactive about your source of motivation, you can’t afford to overlook what a valuable asset the Creator’s Hub can be.
Final Thoughts
Well, as you can see, there’s so much going on in the Medium community, that there is never any shortage of motivation.
