How are you utilising your spare time?

We sometimes do not understand the importance of our spare time. Some of us see it as a time to read a book, catch up with friends or watch our favourite series on Netflix.
While those personal interests might be very important to you, know that those are spare time you will never get back. So, it begs the question:
Are you using your spare time wisely?
Mohnish Pabrai is an Indian-American investor who runs the hedge fund Pabrai Investment Funds. In an interview, Mohnish stated that he used to spend his spare time working on his own business. He mentioned that he would do enough at his job not to get fired, but then he would spend all his spare time growing his business.
Did you know that Mohnish once spent $650,000 to have lunch with the daddy of investing Warren Buffet?
Yes, we all know that money does not buy happiness. However, not being able to turn on your central heating because your pension is not enough to maintain your daily lifestyle is a bitter pill to swallow after spending your entire working life preparing for retirement.
On the other hand, not being able to go on a proper vacation after spending most of the financial year doing all the overtime under the sun is not easy to accept. So, I ask again.
Are you using your spare time wisely?
You want to put a system in place that will ensure that regardless of whether you are in employment age or not, you can afford the finer things in life.
We have read several articles on this platform about how a few of our fellow writers have managed to do tremendously well and have amassed a substantial amount of money. They have earned money from publishing their work on this platform.
Whilst everyone might not be able to boast about such success. There is no harm in trying because, on this platform, you can hit the ground running and start earning. You only need to carve out a little time from your schedule and get started.
