Do You Know How a Sparrow Measures a Thing

Do you know how a sparrow does this? How to measure?

Did you know that the length from your lower arm (from wrist to your antecubital space/opposite side of the elbow) is about your shoe size?

When I walked around too much before getting into a shopping mall or inside of a shopping mall, I sometimes feel my feet are sweaty. Then if the day is one of those days when I happened to do some window shopping for shoes or actually met the right pair with a great deal.

When I feel a bit warm in my shoes, I tend to flip around my feet and try to get my feet cooler and drier before trying any shoes on. I feel bad if I put my feet right into the new pair.

Do they sanitize them if I put my feet right into the shoes when they are still sweaty, and after I decide not to buy?

If I’m on my boots, and I don’t even bother to take them off, I grab the pair I like, and first of all, I do a quick check of the shoe size with my arm. It’s about 1 second. Especially when the size is written in the number I have no idea what size that is.

If the size is about right, I may try on if the design and color are what I’m looking for.

Ok, that is what a human does.

Do you know how a sparrow does? How to measure?

The first thing they do is, playing around, jump around the plants and a fence. And they measure the place and see if they like it or not, then take off for the next destination. I don’t know if birds ever sweat after jumping around, flying so fast, and for such a long distance.

I’ve been wondering why there was a rectangular space in a brick wall. Just one brick is missing.

I don’t know if a brick fell off or it was like that from the beginning. Or, was someone going to put a different brick into that space?

One day a sparrow flew by.

This sparrow checked around the surroundings, quite some time. Flowers, green leaves, a wooden fence, sunlight, and so on. It seems the sparrow liked what it saw, jumping around.

The sparrow found this rectangular space of the brick wall, just right above the wooden fence.

It looked up. It jumped a little above toward the rectangular space. Now, this sparrow is right below the rectangular space.

It looked around, checking around, making a few more steps.

Then, this is what happened.
