Do You Know All About Medium?

We are here to help

Many publications refuse to publish articles about Medium, writing on Medium, and Medium writers.

Our publication is the exact opposite.

At All About M(edium), We will exclusively publish articles about Medium.

If you want to share some tips, make (respectful) fun of Tony-the-new-CEO, or comment on Medium’s latest announcement, this is the place to do so.

In these submission guidelines, you will find:

1. The rules
2. How to become a writer for All About M(edium)
3. One tag we like
4. Bios and links to other stories
5. What are the plans
6. Who are the editors

The TWO RULES you have to follow

#1 — Your story should be about Medium

It can be fiction or non-fiction, funny or serious, a listicle or a decent article; everything goes as long as it is about Medium.

The rest is your choice.

Images, formatting, headers, kickers, et ceteraERS: we don’t have strong opinions.

Do as you like.

As long as you:

#2 — Respect the Medium rules

Here they are again:

Read them if you didn’t so far!

How to become a writer for All About Medium?

Easy. Leave a comment on this article.

Cookies points if you use the word “Smillew” in your response. It’s my grandson, and I love him very much.

One tag we like

As per rule #1 above, you don’t have to use it. It’s 100% optional. But if you want to make a Grandma happy, you can use the following tag: “Long Live Grandma Smillew.”

Bios and links to other stories

Yes. You can add all the bios and links to other stories you fancy. Links to other writers’ articles are welcome (it’s nice to support each other) but are not mandatory.

What are the plans?

I will write a regular column to answer your questions about Medium and will do so to the best of my abilities. Don’t worry; if I don’t know the answer, I will do as ChatGPT and make something up!

Joking.

Leave your questions in the comments!

Who are the editors?

I’m the boss and Smillew, my grandson, will do all the work for me as usual because he’s very kind.

All the best to all of you, writers and readers! We’re looking forward to publishing and reading your stories.

PS: If you’re looking for a place to publish your stories that are not about Medium, we recommend The Pub:

Grandma Smillew loves her afternoon cup of cocoa, scrabble, and her grandson, Smillew Rahcuef. She’s also a pink belt in social media and marketing strategies. If you want to make her happy, follow her on Medium and write for one of her publications: All About Medium and Grandma Power.
