How to Write for Great Women
Great Women come with each generation and their stories withstand the test of time. They have won fights against world leaders, secured new liberties, fought for the rights of themselves and others, and raised children to be better than those that came before them.
The women of today are breaking down barriers and pushing limits in science, technology, social issues, and equality.
Here at Great Women, we strive to introduce our readers to women who have done amazing things both in history and in the present day.

Guidelines for Submissions
What we are looking for are stories about women doing amazing things. While the facts of their lives may be interesting, we are looking for stories of their lives. We accept non-fiction articles only but don’t want articles that read like Wikipedia articles.
We do not guarantee every article will be published.
Each submission will be read by our editors and processed within two business days. If your article is still pending after two days, there may be notes left in the article for changes.
- We are looking for original work unpublished on Medium. If you have a piece that was published on another platform, please submit and we will take each of these on a case by case basis.
- Please make sure your piece is well-edited and offers a great story.
- Titles should be in title case and subtitles should be in sentence case with punctuation.
- You may tag your work, but we will add the tag for the section it will be featured in when published.
- All images should be properly captioned with credit and be horizontal in formatting.
- Images should sit below the title and subtitle.
- There should only be one image.
