Do you dare?
“To dare means to lose your balance for the moment. Not daring means losing yourself completely. ” — Shren Kierkegaard

I dared to create big dreams…
I thought about what is right for me and decided what is possible. I imagined the future and told myself that whatever others did in reason, I would probably be able to do just do it as well.
After deciding where to go, the only question I asked myself was, “How do I get there?” How do you get from where you are today to where you want to be?
I dared to dream and discover my inner desire for what I want to be: my best version.
Someone told me: All people have been put on this earth to do something wonderful with their lives, but too many are lost and uprooted from the true essence.
I strongly believe that we have enormous resources of talent and untapped skills in us! All we have to do is refuse to stay in the comfort zone when we want something. Let’s be honest with ourselves and not fall into the trap of settling for less than we can be able to.
You were born for greatness!
We are here to make a difference in a way. What do we want? If we could be or do or have something in life, what would those things be?
I allow myself to start my day daring to dream, and then I work to make my dreams come true. Dare you too! You have already the ability to set goals and make plans for them. This skill is developed only through practice and is the first step that can ensure eventual success.
Here is the method I use to set and achieve goals:
I have learned this method over the years and it works for me. I know we are unique and the way we work can be similar or even very different, but I share these with you for at least a touch of inspiration.
First of all, I dared to dream and decide exactly what I want. Many times I only had the whole idea in mind, but over time I learned to pay more and more attention to detail.
Secondly, I started writing down my goals in detail and set a deadline. At first, I made hasty and unrealistic deadlines. I was anxiously waiting for the “X” date when… nothing would happen. And so the next step was born.
Third, I learned that “patience is golden” and “hurry spoils the job,” so I gave a more realistic time to achieve my goals.
How?
Determining the following steps:
1. I determined the additional knowledge, skills, and aptitudes I needed to achieve my goal, but also how I could have acquired them. I focused on reality and the abilities I already had. In what way? Testing.
Someone told me that I am not a person of my word because I always started projects that I did not complete. I wasn’t upset, but I told him that if I hadn’t tested anything, I would never have gotten to the point where I could figure out what I wanted. I can dream that I will reach anything, but the practice is completely different.
2. This is the only way to find out how I can determine the obstacles and difficulties I will have to overcome to reach the proposed goal. For example, at the moment, one of the difficulties I face is the German language that I need to master as well as possible. What do I do? Do you think I give up or beat my head until I reach the level I need to move on to the end goal??? NO! I have learned that success does not come easy, so I learn and learn and learn!
3. I have determined the people, groups, or institutions whose help I will need and through which I will be able to follow my path. Careful! It’s not about abusing and taking advantage of others! They can be mentors, courses, schools to follow, friends who support us morally and who trust us, etc.
So, considering all that has been written so far, I come to the point where I can make a detailed plan, broken down by activities and organized by priority and sequence, answering three questions:
What is the most important? What to do first? What needs to be done before anything else can be done?
And now… what?
Let’s enjoy it every day! Dare! Do something every day to get you to your goal!
A thousand dreams die unborn every day because the dreamer does not have the courage to take the first step, in faith, without the guarantee of success.
The big difference between achieving success and failure in life is in your willingness to take advantage of every day. There are no guarantees in life and if we stop to think about every obstacle that must first be overcome, then we will do nothing.

We just need to move in the direction of the proposed goal, even when the information we have is still incomplete. We need to be constantly ready to review our plan and add everything that is needed.
What else do we have to do than create our success in life?
To stay in the comfort zone, to complain, and to envy those who succeed? Nope! We have free will, so we have the power to make choices. Who is not willing to make an effort, will be left with only dreams and disappointment.
I dare to dream big dreams and for me, every great achievement starts with a vision, and after I set that vision in detail, the goal will be to take advantage of today. To simply do something that brings me closer to achieving the proposed goal.
So, no matter what method you apply, dare to set your big dreams… And don’t forget: Big dreams are made up of small dreams.
What choice do you make now? Do you dare?
