Do When Your Focus Is Lost
Regain your concentration back.

We, humans, are surrounded by happiness and problems. In every step there are complications. There are issues that haunt us, which disturbs our day. But these problems are necessary for our growth.
Some days are bad. There are days when we can’t concentrate on our work. It’s hampering our development. We try to visualize things in all negative directions. There is no limit for that negativeness. It just goes widening in all areas of our mind and we lose our focus. This thinking comes because of :
- Lack of sleep.
- Some bad taunts from someone.
- Missed a deadline.
- Unpredictable problems.
- Something didn’t work as we wanted.
- Thinking of the past.
- Financial burdens.
- Worrying about the future.
- Family issues.
The list is endless. We are surrounded by it and we can’t stop them. The only thing we can do is control and calm our minds. We need to give a stimulus to our mind, which will help us to recover from it. Your mind is only the tool to solve all problems.
If we can’t control our thoughts. It will take us to all those bad places which we should never ride. It will disturb us and our progress. Then you will start to blame the situations and not yourself for the hurdles.
Hurdles will come if you have to grow. So, don’t blame on obstacles. Blame on your mind. You gave all those bad triggers to it. Now, you have to stop. Stop as it takes that turn to negativeness. Train your mind.
I know it’s not easy. You have to work on it. Give one good action at a time. It won’t change in a day. It will take time. You have to activate your mind to do it little by little. The thing is you have to start converting your bad thinking to a good one.
You can do the following things to start focusing:
1. Avoid distraction
Keep that phone away from your eyesight for a while. Just remove that screen in front of you. As you are already stressed and again you want to disturb your eyes by looking at social media.
So, relax a bit. Give rest to your eyes. Give rest to that internet monster for a while.
Don’t lose your focus by looking at someone’s else post again. So, calm down and relax.
2. Go out and sit with nature
Your mind needs relaxation. You need a break. So, give that break to your body. You need it. Go and sit with yourself somewhere. Take out that me time to know your thoughts and to ease your mind and body.
Nature beautifully heals us. There is that beauty in it which alleviate our stress. So, go and talk with it.
Share your company with nature by doing any of these:
- Take a walk.
- Ride a bicycle and feel the wind.
- Sit in your balcony.
- Sit on that bench of the garden.
- Water that indoor plant.
- Stare at the sky.
- Look at birds.
So, feel it. It tells us something. It heals us and connects us to the real beauty of life.
Nature recharges our battery. So, recharge your soul and mind often.
3. Talk to that friend
Some problems need an answer from a third-person perspective. We want someone else opinion for it. So, call that friend of yours with whom you can share your story.
Someone is ready to listen to you and guide you. So that you can dump all your feelings to them.
Now, your heart and mind will find ease. As it is been said somewhere. Your thoughts have been released. You will feel relax.
Friends are the epitome of our life.
So, start doing things to rewire your thoughts. Take a break, recharge yourself, have a sound sleep, work on your thoughts, listen to soothing music, feel yourself, and build a stronger version for you.
Remember this:
I agreed that time is harassing you,
but even it is teaching you how to live.
